napparoo - natural nappies

Boosters

Boosters are pads of material that are inserted into the nappy to help increase nappies absorbency. This useful if you want your nappy to last the night. These are made from a variety of materials, examples of which are cotton, hemp, microfiber and bamboo.

Liners

Liners are used to catch solid matter, but can also be used to help keep babies bottom dry.  There is a choice of liners, paper, fleece and silk.

Paper liners are easy to use; they can be flushed down the toilet as they are disposable.

Fleece
is very good liner for keeping babies bottom dry as the fleece lets the wet through to the nappy, but doesn’t let it back. Fleece liners are washed at the same time as the nappy.

Silk
is not used as often as the others, but is good for sensitive bottoms and nappy rash. They require hand washing.
