napparoo - natural nappies

Flat nappies

Flat nappies need a waterproof outer. Most used is a wrap. These come in arrange of colours and fabrics so your baby can still look gorgeous.

Terry squares are still very popular and these come in arrange of colours and fabrics, organic cotton or bamboo. You can hold them together using a pin or nappi nippas

Folding Diagrams

Pre-folds are another sort of flat nappy. They are rectangular and have extra padding sewn into the centre of the nappy. These are folded and held into place with a tight fitted wrap. They can be used to help stuff other nappies. These also come in different materials.

Muslins can be also used as a flat nappy. It's a thin cotton square some people use on newborns. They are not the most absorbent but are useful when changing frequently. They are folded the same as terry squares, and will also need a wrap.

All of these types of flat/ pre-fold nappy drying times depend on the material it is made from. As you can unfold/ separate the nappy, drying time can be made faster.
